INTRODUCTION
I’m Cecilia Karlsson, born 1988 and I live in Gothenburg, Sweden. Cecilia Björnsdotter (Bear’s daughther) is my alias. In my family history bears (björn) have been recurrent in names and actual real bears. therefore it felt like the perfect artist name.
I have been creating since I was born and I got a never ending need to create. It’s fun too of course , but foremost a need of mine. As my life has gone on, I have found new art forms to explore. I covered most of these forms here (I think) – apart from motion pictures. The motion pictures I do is usally in combination with other artists songs, due to property rights I cannot publish them here.

PHOTOGRAPHY
MOST OF MY PHOTOGRAPHS ARE TAKEN WITH MY IPHONE. FOR ME, IT’S NEVER BEEN THE QUALITY OF THE CAMERA THAT MAKES THE PHOTO, IT’S THE MOTIVE. HOWEVER, I DO GOT AN OLD DIGITAL SYSTEM CAMERA FROM SONY THAT SERVES ME VERY WELL. I LOVE TRAVELING SO MANY OF THE PHOTOS ARE FROM MY TRAVELS.

Creating digital artwork is so fun and easy. I just experiment with my images or designs and see what happens.
SCULPTURE
SCULPTURES ARE MY NEWEST DISCOVERED ART FIELD. AS FOR NOW, I DO SCULPTURES IN PAPIER MACHÉ AND/OR GYPSUM.
PAINTING
TO PAINT IS ALWAYS FUN, BUT I DON’T DO IT VERY OFTEN. SOME OF THESE PIECES ARE REALLY OLD, HENCE THE BAD QUALITY OF THE PICTURE.
MUSIC
MUSIC IS MY GREATEST PASSION IN LIFE. I STARTED WRITING MUSIC WHEN I WAS 12 AND HAVE BEEN WRITING MUSIC AND RECORDING THEM PERIODICALLY SINCE THEN. THESE SONGS ARE JUST A FEW OF MY SONGS AND VARY IN RECORDING QUALITY DUE TO AGE.

the gathered work of the theme “RED is the deadliest color” is a combination of different art fields. it’s my way to express my emotions over the contemporary war and death around us. how the humanity still is willing to ignore the atrocities around the world, even if we so badly say we hate it. it’s also about the history of war; the idolization and triumph. “RED is the deadliest color” is in the end about love and hate, and how red is their common color.
